My journey in event planning began 9 years ago after completing my undergraduate degree in event planning and hospitality management, along with a minor in business and law. Later, I earned a master's degree in business and project management, which has helped me to gain a comprehensive understanding of planning.

When I am not wedding planning, I enjoy baking delicious treats (French macarons are my favorite), kayaking and lifting weights (it helps that my partner is a strength and conditioning coach!). I am Becca Byrd, owner and founder of Love Byrd events. I started Love Byrd after 10+ years of personal and professional event planning. I have spent the last decade in New Haven working as an event planner for a large university as well as serving on governing boards of a variety of local non-profits.
