Constructed in 1871 by Bavarian immigrant Philip H. Zorn Jr., Barrelhouse The Venue resides on the historic Zorn campus. As an annex to the brewery, Barrelhouse The Venue would manufacture beer barrels to house fresh beer prior to distribution around Northwest Indiana. Though unoccupied now, the original ice-house, brew-house, and malting building still stand across the street, a reminder of the dream Philip Zorn brought with him to America.

Hidden Vineyard is a working farm and vineyard with an elegant old barn that looks out over the rolling fields. There is a large Catalpa tree near the barn that is the second-largest Catalpa tree in Michigan and makes for a wonderful outdoor ceremony site. The old barn hosts lovely receptions and has a large covered deck that overlooks the vineyard.

Lakeside Occasions is a family-owned wedding barn in the heart of northern Indiana's Amish country. Our historic dairy barn was built in the late 1880's and has been in the family ever since! The Blossom Barn is a historical farm built in 1832 by the Steckel family. It was once a state of the art dairy farm. They sold Steckel Dairy products. The dairy barn was one of many barns and outbuildings here on the 100+ acres. The original dairy barn burned down and this one we restored was built in the early 1900's. We were able to restore all of these buildings on the property, the dairy barn, the white livestock barn, milk-house, chicken coop and the two silos attached to the dairy barn. Our venue is truly one of a kind, unlike any other venue around! The Hopewell Barn is located about 1/2 mile south of the historic Hopewell Church. Built in 1872 and purchased by Deb in 2018, the church is listed on National Historic Register for its ties to Gene Stratton Porter. Gene was a famous author in the early 1900’s and the area of ‘Hopewell’ was used as the locale for the settings for several of her books. The name ‘Rustic Barn at Hopewell’ was selected to pay tribute to historic roots of the Hopewell area.
