From the start he was so eager to know exactly what we wanted in our music choices and also how we wanted our wedding to go in general. He was a great communicator with us and the other vendors and SO accommodating during the planning process (even when I made last minute changes to the playlist, he was so on top of it!) The timing of our wedding actually ended up being ahead of schedule, which was absolutely because of his guidance in keeping the schedule moving at the clip it needed to be. This was great because it meant we got more time on the dance floor, which was absolutely my favorite part! Now I'm a bit of a music nerd, so I had very specific songs that I wanted played at specific moments and he delivered that perfectly! Our playlist was also pretty eclectic (indie, folk, pop, disco, classic rock, 80s new wave, EDM kind of eclectic!) and he was able to build an order to my songs that flowed perfectly and kept people dancing all night! “My husband and I had some strong opinions about the music that should be played at our wedding - for example, no classic wedding songs or oldies. We asked Graeme to cater to the younger crew at our wedding (70% of our wedding guests were 35 or younger) and he delivered. Once we opened the dance floor I never saw anyone sitting down again for the rest of the night. The tent rental company had told me that the dance floor I wanted to rent was much larger then needed for our weddings size but Graeme was able to keep it full and even over flowing all night long. He knows how to throw a party! In addition we had an outdoor ceremony and even though the wedding wasn't particularity large (98 guests) the space he needed to make music & sound work for was very large and far away from an electrical source. Graeme worked directly with my venue to ensure he had everything he needed to make the day go off without a hitch.”

“My husband and I recently got married September 2023 at Hotel Providence in Rhode Island. Planning a wedding was one of the hardest things I ever had to do in my life. Finding the perfect vendor for each part of your wedding is hard. I spent many many days privately messaging people and trying to see who fits what I need for this day. I came down to the DJ. I found Josh of D and J entertainment. I read all his positive reviews and decided to give him a call. He without hesitation answered all my questions and drove from Massachusetts to Rhode Island to meet with us. Josh hands down is one of the coolest people you can talk to. He is very honest but in a good way. He lets you know was popular with weddings now and helps you out his spin on it. Josh’ company has amazing pricing. They are able to accommodate all weddings. With so much you have to pay for on this day it’s nice paying someone and feeling like your money is actually going to be used well with him. They arrived hours before the ceremony to set up. The hotel loved the company too and how polite they were. Josh came prepared with all the music we requested to hear that day. From the minute we walked down the isle to when everyone left. Josh kept playing amazing music. All night I wasn’t let down once by the song choice. In some areas the venue messed up on a few things. Example the cake cutting and first dance. The hotel really didn’t nail timing so josh Took complete control of the wedding and saved it truly. He made sure my cake cutting and first dance were memorable because the hotel slipped with this. Nothing like a DJ who saves the day too. The best part of it all while DJing Josh found time to take so many photos. He wasn’t asked or required to do so. He took it upon himself to take more professional photos for us. That’s what I call above and beyond. Couldn’t believe he went that far out of his way for us. “Where to start when working with M.C. Fish?! Right from the first video interview, Dave brought such a great and personal energy when talking about our wedding with us. He was so incredibly knowledgeable when it comes to every aspect of the reception and made us feel like we were in great hands every step of the way. Whenever we had questions he was right on top of responses, and even helped us with aspects outside of the music/reception. When it came time for our final planning meeting he was incredibly thorough with every detail on how the night would go. We had a very specific vibe for our cocktail hour, pre-ceremony and dinner music playlists, and Dave took down every last song on our lists.
