The Bedford Event Center was established in 2020 to meet the event and venue needs of the Southern New Hampshire and Greater Boston areas. South Church is a historic church in downtown Portsmouth, built circa 1825. There are no religious requirements to use the church for your wedding ceremony; you can use the officiant of your choice as long as they are legally allowed to perform a ceremony in the state of New Hampshire. South Church has a complete sound system so that couples and/or officiants can be heard, as well as use of the piano and/or organ, MP3 hookups, and pre-ceremony holding rooms. We work with many local florists, photographers, musicians, and officiants to assure your special day is exactly what you want it to be.

We have two banquet rooms. The larger of the two, the Berkshire room, has a capacity of 100-350 (minimum of 150 on a Saturday and 100 on any other day of the week). The smaller of the two, the Westfield room, has a capacity of 50-150 people (minimum of 100 people on a Saturday and 50 any other day of the week). We also have a beautiful outdoor ceremony space with the option to host an inside ceremony as well.

Foster’s Clambakes and Catering is an event venue and full-service catering company located in York Harbor, Maine. Foster’s is famous for its clambakes, lobster, Maine cuisine and personal service. The West Mountain Inn was originally built as a farmhouse in 1809. From 1880 to 1920, first a gristmill and then a lumber mill were operated on the Battenkill River at the foot of the mountain. In 1904 Ned and Gwendolyn Rochester purchased the 150 acre farm and began to transform it into an elegant summer estate. After a succession of other residents the estate later became an arts and retreat center.

There are many exciting ways that 3S can fit the needs of your event. 3S has all of the amenities to accommodate your business or private function. We provide a full AV package with comfortable seating and amenities for your guests, including a full service bar. 3S is a convenient and comfortable space, with easy access to accommodations. Our staff is experienced with virtually every kind of event—from concerts and performances to lectures and readings, film/video screenings, business meetings, weddings and more! We work closely with our rental clients to assist them in planning and hosting their events.
