We have a lovely converted barn reception site which boasts a perfect warming kitchen and prep area for your caterers. The property at Hidden Pastures Farm covers almost 300 acres of pristine private mountaintop real estate. The views overlooking Ashe County and beyond are some of the best you will ever see.

Our historic farm which was established in 1890 has since been transformed into a tranquil venue to create lasting memories. Our open-air pavilion with exposed beams and exquisite handmade chandeliers makes for great reception area. The wooden arch overlooking the Carolina mountains is just a short walk across the lawn creating the perfect ceremony location.

The Finch House is one of North Carolina's most accommodating wedding venues. We are located in Thomasville just a few minutes from I-85, within 30 minutes from both downtown Greensboro and Winston Salem. The mansion is over 7,000 square feet and sits on one and a half acres. We offer both indoor and outdoor wedding and reception options. Tables, chairs and linens are included in our packages. With overnight accommodations for up to 25 guests, we are the perfect destination for your guests. We consider ourselves to be a neutral modern space with a gorgeous home on the property that serves as the wedding party suite. Multiple locations for ceremonies and receptions are easily found. We have in house catering, bartending and coordination availability for your event, but we welcome outside vendors of our clients choice, if you prefer. We can provide as little or as many services as needed by our clients. Nana-Mac Meadows also has an ever-growing decor closet on site for clients rental of decor, table settings, serving ware & so much more! We are versatile in that intimate events are equally as beautifully as large scale ones. There are so many possibilities within Nana-Mac - rain (using our indoor options) or shine (using the breathtaking outdoor spaces). The Westin Poinsett Hotel was built in 1924. After the Great Depression, it started to get a lot of traction from local residents and quickly became known as “Carolina’s Finest.” It was purchased in 1997 and the extensive renovation process began, transforming it to the same flamboyant hotel that hosted guests such as Amelia Earhart and Bobby Kennedy. The Westin Poinsett boasts eight event rooms with a total of 9,669 square feet of event space, with the largest room holding up to 350 people reception style. In 1929, Jean-Pierre Auguste Dalmas, a Waldensian immigrant from Villar Pellice, Italy, started construction on the dairy barn on his property in Valdese, NC. After the barn had been completed, work began on the main house. He built a rock veneered masterpiece, large enough to house his 7 children. He cleared a field for a vineyard and until his death in 1972 (at the age of 92), he made wine in the basement of the main house every autumn.
