I'm married to a woodworker (who HAD to be the inspiration behind Ron Swanson because they're the same human), we live on 25 acres with three huge dogs (2 Golden Retrievers and one Great Pyrenees) and three ducks - and I'm constantly begging for more animals. Hi! My name is Steve. I do visual storytelling. I’m married with three kids and in my spare time I record music and build things. I've been filming and photographing weddings since 2009. I love travel and getting to know unique couples.

I've had a camera in my hands for as long as I can remember; I used it like a pocket journal of sorts and photographed constantly while growing up in Hawai'i. I fell into weddings when my dad remarried in 2013, and I remember being caught off guard by the swirl of emotions I felt standing at the edge of a new beginning. Turning those feelings into tangible memories was the only thing that made sense. I moved to New York City to refine my skillset and took a detour into the fashion industry before receiving my Bachelor's in photography from NYU.
