CountyLine Vineyard & Venue is an off the beaten path wedding venue set in the countryside of central Virginia. Shortly down the lane in view are a picturesque venue barn, vineyard, pre-civil war log cabin, and fields offering beautiful backdrops for a wedding ceremony, reception, and photographs. Artistic wood features abound throughout the barn. Much of the wood, harvested right from the property, was meticulously shaped by hand to add a warm artistic feel to the spaces within. Along with a 2,000 square foot banquet room, there's a bridesmaids get-ready suite, caterer's prep room, restroom facility, and an outdoor bar and patio areas. Also located on the property is a pre-civil war log cabin available for overnight accommodations for event guests. We're a family-owned working farm located in New Castle, VA about 20 minutes from Roanoke. We have >100 acres of pristine land that backs up to National Forest land. The back of the farm has a small, rustic barn that has been converted for use as a intimate ceremony and can accommodate several people or a covered area for serving food, cake table, and gifts area. Couples are welcome to hang photos and decorate the barn to their liking. There is ample room for tents to accommodate DJ services, dance floor, caterers, etc. The lower section of the property is meticulously maintained and has a built-in stone grill and a large fire pit that couples are welcome to use. Ample parking is available. Power is available via generator to power lights, music, etc. We're happy to work with couples or wedding planners to make your big day unique and stress-free.

We include a ton of props - so please visit us - we look so forward to meeting you We set up the ceremony chairs for our couples as well as the tables and chairs for the reception area before you arrive for your wedding day to reduce stress. Any decor items you need are set up by us such as shepherd hooks, easels, signs and much more. We also include lawn games and we have a firepit for use just to add extra ambience. Best part we are across the road from the nearest hotel so guests can walk to our venue AND up to 16 guests can sleep over at Greenock for the whole weekend - so many more happy memories. We can include a planner to manage your wedding on your wedding day too!

Open Air The Glebe is the newest, yet oldest, wedding venue in Charles City County. The historic home was built circa 1745 to serve as the home of the pastor of Westover Parish and was, on occasion, the site of elopements during the mid 1700's.
