I spent my teenage years drawing cartoons and Japanase manga. I discovered my love for photography during my late teenage years when I got my hands on my first cellphone with a camera. I was always the go to picture person during family events and gatherings. Though they were admittedly average at the time, everyone loved them and always encouraged me to get a real camera. Valerie started out in editorial photography and branched out to events, commercial and architectural photography. In 2010 she took a position as the head photographer at the NYSE.
