Belle Garden Estate is a luxury, outdoor, historic wedding venue. We are located in Wirtz, VA. Just 25 minutes from Downtown Roanoke and 15 minutes from Smith Mountain Lake. Our covered pavilion can accommodate up to 200 guests and we offer overnight accommodations for up to 8 guests. We have beautiful mountain views, inviting gardens, and multiple scenic ceremony sites.

Poplar Hill is a 100 acre farm that was built in 1790. The home is surrounded by mature landscape with English boxwoods and crepe myrtles that are 100 years old. Every couple and family that come to Poplar Hill tell us that our pictures do not do it justice! Coley Hall at The Liberty began as a run-down century old Tobacco Warehouse. After being purchased by Elkin native Cicely McCulloch, the space was transformed into a beautiful wedding venue. With an industrial feel, century-old exposed beams overhead, weathered wood, and distressed brick, it’s the definition of rustic elegance and can be tailor-made to fit any style. Open Air The Glebe is the newest, yet oldest, wedding venue in Charles City County. The historic home was built circa 1745 to serve as the home of the pastor of Westover Parish and was, on occasion, the site of elopements during the mid 1700's. Today, you can host your wedding reception under our 60'x90' tent, have your rehearsal dinner in the Tractor Pavilion--or whatever celebrations you like for a day or for a long weekend. Make your celebration as lavish or casual as you like. Whatever you desire, we can make it happen.

Greenock Manor is a 150 year old Farm house with towering giant trees (they are grand old grandpa's and we love them!) The Manor is a beautiful restored traditional American Victorian style farm house with a delightful wrap around balcony. We aim at a homely feel for our bridal families to reduce stress. We include a ton of props - so please visit us - we look so forward to meeting you We set up the ceremony chairs for our couples as well as the tables and chairs for the reception area before you arrive for your wedding day to reduce stress. Any decor items you need are set up by us such as shepherd hooks, easels, signs and much more. We also include lawn games and we have a firepit for use just to add extra ambience. Best part we are across the road from the nearest hotel so guests can walk to our venue AND up to 16 guests can sleep over at Greenock for the whole weekend - so many more happy memories. We can include a planner to manage your wedding on your wedding day too!

There is nothing more romantic than a beautiful wedding in a countryside setting! Family-owned and operated, we have hosted weddings, receptions and other special events since 1995. We have a wedding package for almost any budget. Rates are based on day of the week, month and services. May, June, September, October and December are considered on-peak. Friday and Saturday are considered on-peak. Rates vary from $2400 for an outdoor garden wedding and reception to $6900 for a full weekend of services including overnight. Elopement packages are available for 2-10 guests and include officiant, wedding cake and toast. Availability depends on when you wish to book. Rosa Lee Manor is available most Sundays and weekdays - Saturdays are available if booked less than 60 days from your wedding date. Inquire for $. The Farmhouse at Rosa Lee Manor is a recently restored house which is rustic and suitable for 2-4 guests overnight. It's a wooded setting ideal for very small elopement ceremonies.

The Historic Bristol Virginia Post Office is a wedding and event facility located in downtown Bristol Virginia. This historic building was built in 1933 and restored in 2021. The building offers historic charm with elegance and sophistication as the backdrop for your wedding or event.

The Jiddi Space & Courtyard, part of Raleigh's Helig-Levine Complex, comprises four historic buildings dating back to the late 1800s. Originally a furniture and dry goods store, the space evolved into a stockroom for Heilig-Levine Furniture Store. Restored by Empire Properties in 2005, it now serves as an event venue managed by neighboring restaurants Sitti and Gravy. Hosting parties, weddings, and events, it retains its historic charm with market lights and a rich heritage spanning nearly 150 years.

Just a short TWENTY minute drive south of Lynchburg, Avoca, the principal architectural landmark of the Town of Altavista, is an American Queen Anne-style house, designed by architect J.M.B. Lewis and built in 1901. Designated a Virginia Historic Landmark and listed in the National Register of Historic Places, Avoca is the home site of Colonel Charles Lynch, Revolutionary War hero. On the of grounds of the Museum, enjoy your private event with the ambiance of the Avoca mansion and the original Revolutionary War era kitchen, as well as 18th century outbuildings. The Gazebo works as both a great wedding arch with the fountain area perfect for reception gathering of a Tudor house backdrop to your ceremony. Amherst is a community arts center and event space. It is a hub for the arts, small businesses, and community groups.. The facility can be leased for community events, musical performances, parties, weddings, and more. The old Amherst Baptist Church was the home of that church's congregation until 2005. Its sanctuary was constructed in 1882, making it the second oldest religious structure still standing in the Town of Amherst. Starting in 2012, a grassroots group took the initiative to save a historic structure in the heart of Amherst, VA, and to re-purpose it as a creative community center. Located in the middle of a vibrant village, the goal was to provide a gathering place for events.
