Working with Robin of VOG Events was a great decision! She gave us lots of vendor suggestions but gave us the freedom to make decisions on our own. Working with other wedding vendors and signing contracts can be filled with new language, but Robin was very knowledgeable and took the time to help us understand the things we didn’t understand throughout the process. She also gave great tips on what to ask for or look for when choosing vendors and making decisions about minor details and how our day would flow. When it came to the wedding day Robin and her team executed things flawlessly! If something did go wrong we would have never known because they always had everything under control. Robin and her team were prompt, professional, and very personable.

When we started planning our wedding, we were on the fence about whether we needed to hire a day-of coordinator. We knew that we were having a fairly small wedding and that we weren’t going to use that many vendors, so it didn’t seem like it would be too much for us to handle day-of details like schedule management and tipping. But once we talked to Ja’el, we knew the Coordinated Collective was going to be a great investment to make sure our wedding ran smoothly and we actually got to enjoy our own party. During our first call, Ja’el took the time to get to know us and to help us think through some of the nuances that we didn’t know to ask about. We walked away with a great list of follow-ups and an understanding of what we needed to do immediately, and what we could hold off on for a bit longer. Once we signed on, Katie was assigned as our event lead. Where to even start - we can’t say enough good things about her. Katie really understood what we wanted for the day, and the worksheets and tracking tools she provided helped us focus on getting the right information, communicated day-of plans to vendors, and made sure that our wedding week was quiet so we could enjoy it with our families. She also helped us navigate vendor questions and even helped us have a successful rehearsal without giving away a fun surprise moment in the ceremony. Our wedding party all remarked on how fun she made the rehearsal. Day-of, she and Molly kept things running smoothly and gave us the space to really enjoy our celebration and our guests. We and our guests had a total blast at our wedding, and we absolutely could not have had the same event without the help of the Coordinated Collective.

Even though our wedding got rescheduled, Lissa was on it and made sure all vendors and contracts got transitioned smoothly to the new date. One thing that I wanted on my wedding day was for everything to be timely. I didn’t want any delays, any ceremony running over time and STH made sure of that. If you don’t have a day of coordinator, look no further! Laura and her team have been incredible. I reached out to Laura after she was the coordinator for my friends wedding and have not been disappointed since that day. Laura has been the utmost example of professionalism and organization. We chose her day of coordinator services as I was pretty confident about my planning abilities, but we didn’t want to have to do anything on our day of. If you do not feel confident with planning, I would seek out her services for full coverage planning as she did just a stellar job with sending us vendors, connecting with the ones that we had, and helping us with all the details. Day of our expectations were exceeded! Once her team arrived, Kayla and Ivy, we didn’t have to do a thing! The day of our plans changed a lot and they really kept us on time. We had to deal with a tropical storm that popped up two days before the wedding, which was wholly unfortunate. Our venue and everything was inside, however we wanted to take our first look and party photos outside. On the day of the coordinators helped us find an additional space to take photos in and took care of everything. It was so great to have Kayla and Ivy by our side because I didn’t have to worry about anything, I didn’t have to look at the schedule, I didn’t have to worry if that was set up correctly, or this was set up correctly or if vendors had arrived and we’re on time and tell them where to go etc. etc. It felt great to just spend my entire wedding day relaxing and enjoying the beautiful day it was. Thank you Laura, Kayla, and Ivy for making our event the absolute best that it could be.

Michelle used her experience to help us anticipate and prepare for every aspect of our wedding, which is exactly what we needed. Most of all, she cared deeply about getting to know us and our vision for the day so she could work on executing that vision while we enjoyed the day. I planned most of our wedding, so I was initially on the fence if I should reserve a day-of-coordinator or not, since our venue had a catering manger; but looking back, I would absolutely urge every couple to DO IT. After meeting Michelle and having a wedding that went so perfectly, I really see this as an investment in the time & energy you put into the planning process. Knowing that Michelle understood exactly how I wanted things to go and I could trust her to make that happen allowed me to full be in the moment during our wedding and enjoy every single minute of the day. Friend's & family know me as being very organized, but (thankfully) I have never planned a wedding before, & there are just details and logistics that you don't know or think about. I no longer live in Maryland, but that didn't stop Veronica from being able to help me with her expertise. I purchased the 12-month virtual wedding planning package. We would virtually meet on Zoom once a month, but her secret weapon is a web portal that has everything you need to reference from customized timelines, budgeting, photo boards, vendors/contact info, & so much more! It also makes it very convenient to communicate through there. Instead of many emails or text chains about allllll the topics that will arise, you can post thoughts, questions, pictures, links, documents, & more. It will notify Veronica by email that you put something in Aisle Planner & she can read/respond & will get back to you within 24hrs. So although I did the 'virtual' package I never felt like I was alone or like Veronica wasn't there to help (she even video chatted with me at the final venue walkthrough 30 days before the wedding!) Even if you think you don't need help or it's not worth it, I promise that when your mental sanity is dwindling, especially towards the end with everything going on, you will be SOO happy you chose Veronica for either in-person or virtual wedding planning!

Kristy was the wedding vendor I didn’t know I needed, until I met her! My husband and I hired Kristy as our day of coordinator for our wedding last weekend and she was nothing short of amazing! Once our wedding was about 4 months out and we really started to get into the weeds of planning our big day, we realized that we needed a day of coordinator as we were doing a lot of DIY touches for the wedding and needed someone there to make sure our vision could actually come to life. Upon meeting Kristy, she immediately gave us a ton of ideas as to where to thrift on a tight budget and had so much information and helpful tips to offer. She also took over the vendor communication 3 months out which was a huge lift in the final planning stage! She was very effective in her coordination with all of our vendors and point of contacts so that on the day of the wedding we were really just enjoying the day both carefree and stress-free. Kristy offers a ton of helpful documents to review after your first session with her and she creates a custom timeline for you with the day scheduled to the minute. She was so organized and really kept us on track! Kristy also did an amazing job with the breakdown of the event especially since we brought in a lot of the decor in ourselves. She was flexible in making sure that all of our items got into one of our family member’s cars so it could be picked up whenever we had time the next day. This was a huge help so that guests at the wedding weren’t carrying flowers, vases, and signs home for us and instead headed directly to the after party. She even texted my parents the morning after with the details of where all of our items were stored and shared some great photos (and a reel with us) from the day! :) Kristy was also an advocate for us as clients, which went a really long way. We were having issues communicating well with one of our vendors, but Kristy stepped in and found a way to get a hold of the vendor and ensure our ask could be met. Without that push, our day would have looked a lot different than the vision we had hoped for- she really made our day come to life. After going through the wedding process, I truly think everyone needs a day of coordinator so if you have a slight inclination that someone is needed, think no further and contact Kristy! While weddings can get expensive as we all know, the best use of our money on our wedding day was spent on Kristy. Looking back on our day, we can’t thank her enough!!

When it came time to plan our own wedding, we weren’t completely sold on the idea of a wedding planner, but our friends told us how we should consider it because of their experience with Create You Events. For them, Vicky and her team were able to assist with a lot of the burden of wedding planning and coordination and said their help was definitely worth the added cost. We remembered the positive first impression we had when we saw them in action at our friend's wedding and decided to have an introductory call. Vicky and her team were very flexible on the services and packages to meet our specific needs. We ultimately decided to have them help us with planning, design/decorations, and day of coordination. For planning, Vicky and the team showed their expertise in the wedding industry. For us, we weren’t as familiar with all the terminology and customs for weddings and Vicky was able to guide us through everything from the best way to talk to vendors and what to look for when touring our venue. She helped keep us on schedule in terms of what work needed to be done throughout the months leading up to the wedding date, and was great at motivating us throughout the process. She and her team stayed up late through the night to do planning calls with us, and were always available and responsive for any questions we had. The team members were so patient and understanding, and great sounding boards for every detailed decision, no matter how small. When my wife had minor decision fatigue melt-downs over whether or not to pay extra for chargers and colorful linens, or which exact flowers to include in the bouquets, Vicky and her team were there to talk through our thought process and help us get to a decision we felt comfortable with. We also had the Create You Events team help us with designing our wedding invites, menus, programs, and signage, which all came out beautifully. They really understood what we were looking for in terms of colors and styles and were able to just take some sample Pinterest pictures to be able to make amazing designs for us. As for the wedding day itself, we ran into many logistical issues with our venue and the (lack of) venue staff. Vicky and her team really stepped up to fill in multiple roles last minute, and make sure everything went smoothly for us. There were so many issues that we didn't even know about, and the Create You team handled them seamlessly. Looking back, we’re so glad we decided to spend the money to have the Create You Events team help us for our wedding. If you’re thinking about having a team help you out for an event, we highly recommend hiring Vicky and her team. Their support and guidance during our wedding planning process and during the wedding day itself were really indispensable.

She made me feel heard, understood, and supported - even when my parents were trying to push for their own choices! - and made sure my husband and I were happy with each and every decision. I had an easy time trusting her and her ideas. Our wedding day was flawless thanks to LaShonda’s diligence, creativity, and leadership. Everything from the ceremony rehearsal to our last dance and send off was perfectly executed and easy. Our entire wedding party raved about LaShonda and her incredibly helpful schedule — a HUGE bonus for this Type A/control freak bride. I knew LaShonda had everything covered - even things I never thought of - so I was able to fully relax in the days leading up to the wedding and on wedding day. The only thing I had to worry about was getting dressed!! My only complaint is that our business together has concluded — I will miss Kawania, LaShonda, and the entire HW Events Team! And no matter how well a wedding is planned, there are always weird things that pop up as you get to the finish line and during the wedding itself--Tyra handled all of those so my hubby and I could enjoy the day. She had absolutely everything covered to the point that I actually felt a bit guilty about how little I did because, hello, that's my personality. As for Tyra's personality--well, she's the best. Super duper friendly, professional and like a good BFF, not afraid to give it to you straight. Highly, highly recommend. P.S.--This was a second wedding for my hubby and I, and it was a very small group. If you figure you don't need a planner because your wedding is going to be intimate, you're wrong. Trust me when I tell you that you still need someone to coordinate with the vendors, make sure the ceremony musicians aren't dead, talk you through a tuxedo crisis, and literally sprint to jump into your officiant's car, who is lost and driving around the mall looking for the venue. ;)

I worked a baby shower with her in November. I did the mom to be's hair for the event. I got to see the decorations she put together and I was impressed! You can tell that a lot of thought and effort was put in to it. The gift boxes were adorable, the backdrop was stunning and the mom to be was so happy. I would highly recommend her to anyone for any event. You can tell Etzy cares a great deal about her clients.

Natasha worked with Bianca for our wedding this past October, and let me just say this up front to any bride/groom: you may THINK you are type A and can handle any and every small detail in your wedding. You may THINK "how many decisions could I possibly need help with if I already have all of my vendors selected and every event for the weekend is in the same place? EASY." Welp, let me tell you folks--it is decidedly *not*. We had our wedding at the Intercontinental on the Wharf: all 3 wedding events throughout the weekend. I hired Natasha as some decisions were becoming mildly overwhelming and her prices were *chefs kiss*. When I say she and Bianca saved the day MULTIPLE times during our weekend, I am not overstating. She made every vendor organizational correspondence and handled all last minute questions they had--it was the best decision I made about the wedding (minus the groom, he's #1 ;)). Do yourself a favor as the price is MORE than absolutely worth the help and bliss Natasha will deliver you--BOOK.HER.IMMEDIATELY. She also already has working relationships with numerous vendors and locations in the city, which was astoundingly helpful. Seriously. Just book her and truly enjoy your wedding planning process!

We initially thought we wouldn’t need a coordinator, as we were keeping the wedding relatively simple (limited vendors, limited decorations, limited headcount [100]). We decided to err on the side of caution and book Johnnies services as a “Day of” coordinator. All I can really say is I can’t believe how naive we were. Even with our “limited” needs, it would have quickly overwhelmed us and become a full-time job, which we already had. Johnnie took control of coordinating with the vendors we booked, helping us put together the final timeline for the day-of, made sure the venue looked amazing, made sure we were taken care of throughout the whole day, and then worked with the vendors to ensure the venue was clean and that anything of ours was returned to us later. She is the bulldog you want in your corner should anything even slightly go amiss, because she won’t back down. She is also just a generally wonderful and kind person who puts you and your vision at the forefront of everything she does for you. If you are looking for a kind, competent, and creative coordinator, Johnnie is your girl. 5 out of 5 stars.

From the beginning, Cassidy went above and beyond with everything. When I started off with my wedding planning, all I had was a Pinterest board and the ideas in my head. Cassidy took my ideas and added such amazing expertise to create a final decor design for my wedding that I absolutely loved. Cassidy was extremely attentive, responsive, and caring throughout every step of the process. She had all of the wedding designs easily accessible on her planning website, and walked us through every single detail. We hardly ever had any feedback because she executed our needs and wants so perfectly during planning. Throughout the planning process, Cassidy offered many brilliant suggestions for details or aspects of the wedding design that we didn't know how to answer. For the month-of wedding coordination, Cassidy was a pro at working with our vendors and ensuring that any final questions or requests I had were answered and taken care of. The day of my wedding was absolutely perfect thanks to Cassidy and her team! She arrived to our venue so early to personally decorate and coordinate with everyone. I had put my full trust in Cassidy when it came to the final venue set-up and decorations. I was in awe when I showed up to the venue and saw how beautiful everything was. Following venue set-up, she was in full wedding coordinator mode and ensured our entire day went smoothly. I never felt stressed or overwhelmed because Cassidy made sure that everything was handled and kept us on schedule in the most seamless way. Cassidy always had a smile on her face and I felt so relaxed. Everyone at my wedding expressed how beautiful it was and how much fun they had and I have Dusk to Dawn Events to thank for that! My wife and I had a 5 star experience with Grace & Glory Weddings and Events. And that's because Victoria single handedly made our wedding happen despite all of the challenges that we, and the world, threw at her. We were originally looking for just a day-of coordinator, but it was clear after our first meeting that we needed a wedding planner.
