It's safe to say that Jesse is officially a part of my family. I was losing my mind over planning my wedding and just needed support from someone who wasn't my family and who could give me guidance on what to do and how to go about certain wedding things. I was almost not going to choose Ingrid as a wedding coordinator and that would have been one of my biggest regrets as a bride for my wedding. I actually had already put a small deposit down for another wedding coordinator, but once I met Ingrid, she stole my heart. She was my calm to my storm, my ying to my yang, my Robin to my Batman…etc Ingrid is not only an amazing wedding coordinator, but she is also an amazing wedding officiant. She took our love story and crazy ceremony ideas (such as taking a shot with us along with our guests before we sealed the deal or taping our ring box underneath one of the chairs for a surprise ring bearer) and created the ceremony of our dreams. To hear from multiple guests that it was the best ceremony they attended was the best compliment we could receive because the ceremony is the most important part of a wedding. It was my favorite part of my wedding. Then she can amazingly switch gears from officiant to wedding coordinator and rock that too. She can do it all (literally). I always have other couples tell us that their wedding day goes by very fast and they didn’t really get to enjoy all the little things. However, my husband and I felt like our special day did not go by so fast and we most definitely got to enjoy the little things mainly because Ingrid took care of everything behind the scenes that no one sees. She created an amazing timeline for us, took charge of our vendors, made sure we were right on schedule with everything, was super communicative along the way… the list goes on and on. She is everything you would want in a wedding coordinator. I am very sad I won’t get to work with her anymore unless I get married again lol, but I would recommend her to anyone I know and hopefully get to see her in action again.

In the weeks leading up to my wedding, I was naturally feeling nervous and stressed about all of the details and logistics coming together. I wish I spent less time worrying because the day of the wedding was executed perfectly because of Michelle and her team. I was in awe of the florals and decor, and appreciated that Michelle kept us on schedule throughout the day even when unexpected occurrences came up. My husband and I were actually able to enjoy time (and eat!) together during the day of the wedding. This is no small feat given all of the work and set up that needed to be done, and is truly a testament to Michelle and her team's hard work behind the scenes. Her calm nature, professional and fun staff and her deep understanding of how to organize a wedding truly was apparent from the moment we hired her. She knows what to spend her time on, calms you down when you are freaking out about the little things, politely ushers you to the next event to keep the day on schedule. I never felt rushed, stressed, or worried about anything the entire day. She just handles it and everything happens in the background. I also had her do my floral arrangements. They also gave us invaluable advice before the wedding which we followed and it helped to keep us very organized on our end. The decor took our breath away. We aren't design experts and just had a general idea of what we liked. Also owing to our busy schedules which left us little time to participate in the design process, we let Natalie run freely with the concepts she came up with and would tell any other couple to do the same! You won't regret it! I might be something of a designer's nightmare: a bride who doesn't always know what she wants and doesn't have time to plan anything but has high standards about whatever it is. I secretly feared that my wedding would never live up to what I hoped but when we stepped into our ceremony and reception, our jaws were on the floor the whole time. We could not believe this was our wedding because ohhhh my godd. It's like Natalie knew exactly what we wanted without us even knowing it ourselves. The fact that she designed and planned this for us while based in a different city the whole time makes it all the more impressive to me. Last of all, I want to add how grateful I am that Natalie always made sure that both my husband and I felt equally included in decisions. Many vendors treat the bride as if she is the only one whose opinion matters and while maybe this is traditional in the industry, I could tell that he felt left out sometimes. So I want to thank Natalie for always treating it like it was OUR wedding and not just mine because it meant a lot to my husband.

On the day-of, they made sure everything ran smoothly and on schedule (: We did run behind schedule later in the evening (as expected with any wedding, mostly due to some family drama), but they managed to get us caught up because they were very efficient at getting all of the vendors on the same page! We got so many compliments from our wedding party and guests saying the flow events appeared very smooth, and there were very few, minor hiccups, which is a huge accomplishment for a wedding in my eyes! I can honestly say I don't think our wedding day could have gone any better, and it would not have been possible without our coordinators working so hard to make sure everyone knew where to go and what to do. I also greatly appreciated their attention to detail, they set up my decorations exactly how I requested and even provided a checklist of items for me to hand to them at the rehearsal. This was such a lifesaver, we would not have had anything to cut our cake with had they not lended us their knife and server! Cannot recommend Mindy & Co Events enough!

I also requested to ensure the timeline was on time because I’ve been to weddings that the guests are sitting there and nothing was happening and I did not want to waste any time at the wedding reception. She did great with the rest of my vendors, timeline and organization as well. She was honest, direct and knowledgeable about the Wedding industry. She did everything I requested and more! The venue kept asking me to add on things which cost more and she told me directly that it is a waste of money, which I love because I am a budget bride. I love that she is honest with her clients and recommends what looks the best and cost effective. I feel that she is very approachable like a friend but at the same time she keeps her professionalism. She made our dream wedding into reality! I could not say enough about Erika O’Brien Events. I found out my venue didn’t provide a wedding coordinator/planner so I found Erika a couple of months before the wedding. Wedding planning is super overwhelming and she did more than I could’ve asked for. I’m very detail orientated with a lot of things and it was very stressful for me to not be apart of setting up and coordinating the wedding. Erika and I had one on one video meetings to go over all the details and at that point I felt comfortable putting the coordinating into someone else’s hands. She made sure everything went smoothly and she set up all the decorations for me. This included all of the personalized decor. She had a detailed timeline that she gave to everyone in the wedding party which was super helpful to make sure everyone knew where they needed to be. All of this put me at ease so I could focus on enjoying the day. She also coordinated with all of my vendors and made sure they new when to be there and the timeline of the whole day. This was a big help because it was too much for me at times to chase down all the vendors and make sure they were going to show up.
